You and your
cronies are English crusaders who have been caught by the defending
Muslims doing reconnaissance for an assault.
They lock you in a cell with a small
window. You can hear the guards just outside the wall and can tell by
their pattern of duty when there will be enough time for you to get out
the window and escape. The problem is that you all were blindfolded when
being placed in the cell. You don’t have a clue about which direction you
came. You only know you have to flee in a northerly direction
because your colleagues are to the North of the holding area preparing for
the assault.
You and your group must get to them. Many
people will die unless you get them the information you have. Your
reconnaissance knowledge will greatly assist them in the assault.
You and your fellow soldiers wait for
morning in order to see where the sun rises to give you a clue about which
way is North, but it turns out to be a cloudy day.
